10th October was World Mental Health day, with everyone within reach of a like button sharing the importance that charities like Mind, CALM, Samaritans and many others have in the role of supporting people, like me who have had struggles with mental health. Although just like a pet, Mental Health isn’t just for 1 day, and the importance of checking in on a mate, and getting the right help is as important 365 days a year.

While I am in a good place these days, I can never recommend highly enough the power of a decent chat, and especially the impact therapy can have on improving your quality of life.

For me, I’ve had various bouts of depression and anxiety of varying degrees, and the mix of good mates, therapy and a supportive family makes a world of difference.

I’m always happy to talk about anything so feel free to drop me a message if you ever want to chat about “stuff”.

Cheers, Mark
