It's been a couple of weeks since I last wrote one of these, so I'm getting closer to posting on a weekly basis if nothing else. Whenever I write one of these, I always find it quite cathartic, and get annoyed with myself for not keeping up with them, but at least it's only a 3 week gap this time instead of 3 months.
After re-organising the GitHub repo a couple of weeks ago, I have now also migrated, and made a few updates to, the current site for Indigenous, some of these are fairly visible, such as removing the App Store links to the now defunct iOS version, and other updates are to make it easier for me to progress with the documentation.
I've probably added more new bits to this site in the past 3 weeks than I have in a long time, with a mixture of bug fixes, adding new stuff and other general improvements. I have started importing more of my content from other sites, and figuring out how best to represent things like watch posts or check-ins for places that I have done/been to, but don't know the exact date for it. My solution to this is to add a "Distant Past" (inspired by the Everything Everything track) function to the site, which will appear at the bottom of post-type pages that have such posts.
In addition, I've also added a number of easter eggs to the site, and now want to focus on getting fetching & displaying webmentions on the site, and also proper micropub support.
I am now on week 2 of restarting weekly sessions with a personal trainer and getting a bit more structure to becoming more fit and active. At the minute the main impact is that my legs and various other parts of my body are aching, although I am now sleeping better. Similarly, I am making a more concerted effort to eat better, which is going well, most of the time.
All being well, I'll do another one of these next week. Let's see if I can keep this up.
